Environmental Justice Resource Center at Clark Atlanta University
Supports, trains and educates people of color professionals and community leaders to help them move into the mainstream of environmental decision-making. See also the Center's extensive annotated bibliography on environmental justice.
Action Resource Center (ARC)
Supports campaigns that protect the environment, human rights and social justice. Provides resources, training and coordination for organizations and activists working on these issues.
Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE)
Works in partnership with communities of color and low income communities to achieve environmental justice. ACE provides legal and technical support, educational programs and organizing assistance to community groups throughout New England.
Asian Pacific Environmental Network (APEN)
APEN works on environmental justice issues facing Asian and Pacific Islander communities in the United States through grassroots community organizing and networking with other environmental justice organizations.
Border Agricultural Workers Project (BAWP)
Helps farmworkers improve their wages, working and living conditions in Southern New Mexico.
Deep South Center for Environmental Justice
Provides opportunities for communities, researchers and decision-makers to work on programs and projects that promote environmental justice.
Center for Health, Environment and Justice
Works with grassroots community groups on issues such as: toxic waste, solid waste, air pollution, incinerators, medical waste and industrial pollution.
Addresses environmental justice issues facing communities of color in the United States by providing on-line services, resources and training for activists.
Environmental Health Coalition
Based in San Diego, monitors government and industry actions that pollute communities, organizes and educates communities about environmental health and toxics use reduction.
Based in the Southwest United States, works on community organizing campaigns on environmental justice issues.
Indigenous Environmental Network
Educates and assists North American Indigenous communities in organizing around environmental and economic justice issues.
Mississippi River Basin Alliance
Multi-state citizen's coalition of environmental justice organizations and traditional conservation groups working on environmental issues impacting the Mississippi River.
The Public Health Institute/Just Transitions
Works to brining together organized labor, the traditional environmental community, and the people of color environmental justice movement to ameliorate conflicts between jobs and the environment.
The Community University Consortium for Regional Environmental Justice (CUCREJ)
Works to build an information clearinghouse and research infrastructure for environmental justice organizations in New Jersey, New York, and Puerto Rico.
Southwest Network for Environmental and Economic Justice
Brings together activists and grassroots organizations from across the Southwest to broaden regional strategies and organizing on environmental and economic justice issues.
